FountainVest's founding team members had led the China local investment effort for a premier international investment house, and helped to build a successful multi-billion investment portfolio, larger than any other PE funds' presence in China.

Prior to that, many of the founding team members were first generation China investment bankers with leading global firms, where they provided strategic and financial advice to many successful companies and listed many of them on international capital markets. Other team members have strong multinational and domestic corporate experiences, or come from accounting and management consulting backgrounds.

These private equity, corporate, and investment banking experiences position us well in bringing FountainVest to entrepreneurs as a value-added partner. We aim to leverage these experiences to assist the new generation of enterprises in China. We create value for the companies in which we invest by helping them with strategy, execution, funding, governance and risk management. In certain cases, we also help these companies with consolidation both in the domestic market as well as through international acquisitions. We seek opportunities to help the entrepreneurs to professionalize management team and streamline systems where appropriate.
